I second the appreciation of your excellent reporting.

One question: why is Mehta accepting the default of secrecy, and placing the burden on DOJ to justify public access to testimony and exhibits?

I don't have an X account. When I click the link to the thread, I can only see the top post without being logged in. Thanks for posting the screenshots for the first thread, but I can't see the second one.

I'm just letting you know in case you weren't aware. What you do with this information is up to you (e.g. you could post it on Mastodon, continue posting screenshots, etc.).

In addition to this, I'd prefer if you post screenshots as I'm not on x or any of its alternatives. Thanks.

Mastodon at least doesn't require you to have an account on any service which federates with the author's Mastodon instance of choice to view posts. Tumblr has also been preventing visitors without an account from viewing posts too, recently. It's an annoying trend.

All of these things could be gone tomorrow, we need screenshots or just text for archival.

Mehta split the difference between the parties' proposals on exhibit posting a bit more favorably to the public than I might have expected given his choices thus far, so it seems like your work and other news reporting has made him think more about public perception.
